I’ve got a few books and after moving recently and getting some new shelves I was thinking about a better way to organise my books. When looking for some ideas I can across the site Bookshelf Porn [link]. This is my kinda site. Basically its a collection of beautiful pictures of bookshelves. The book shelves are large (generally) and all tidy and craftily arranged. Perfect site.
Back to me. A general trend in a good chunk of the images on Bookhelf Porn is the arrangement of books by spine colour to create a rainbow-like effect. Cool idea. I gave it ago but soon realised I have large proportion of books with orange spines. Orange is my least favourite colour, so I decided to flag the idea and have resorted to fumbling categories by type. Oh well, still works for me but less interesting. Found a great site in the process though.

i’ve tried this once as well and it turned out pretty disappointing. I’ve still been searching for a better way to organize my books and I think the link you posted will be helpful! Thanks!
